FAQ

I'm not receiving calls when my phone is locked.
Make sure notifications are enabled for LeetLink in iOS Settings. Background App Refresh should also be on. If the issue persists, force-quit and reopen the app once — that re-registers your VoIP token.
The other person can't hear me.
Check that LeetLink has microphone permission in iOS Settings → LeetLink → Microphone. Also make sure your silent switch isn't on and your call volume is turned up.
How do I add a contact?
LeetLink automatically detects which of your existing iPhone contacts are using LeetLink. There's no friend-request flow — if they have the app installed under a phone number you have saved, they'll appear.
Can I use LeetLink without a phone number?
Not currently. Phone numbers are how we identify users without storing accounts.
Does LeetLink work over Wi-Fi only?
It works on both Wi-Fi and cellular. When both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, the call connects directly device-to-device for the lowest latency.
How do I delete my account?
Email privacy@leet.ae from the phone number associated with your account and we'll delete all associated data within 7 days.
Are calls encrypted?
Yes. WebRTC uses DTLS-SRTP for media encryption by default. Signaling is delivered over TLS (HTTPS/WSS).
I tapped a contact but the call screen says "Calling..." forever.
Make sure both devices have the latest version of LeetLink installed and have internet. If the other person's app was force-quit or has notifications disabled, they may not receive the push notification. Ask them to open LeetLink once and try again.
